Charges of resisting arrest, intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official, a marked lanes violation, failure to stop or yield, improper operation of a motor vehicle, driving at a rate of speed exceeding the posted limit, number plate violation to conceal identification, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, leaving the scene of property damage, failure to stop for police, uninsured motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle, in Deerfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Bail set at $7,500. Pretrial conference set for Nov. 26. The counsel fee was waived.

Morgan E. Powers, 37, of Western Avenue, Brattleboro, Vt. Charges of a marked lanes violation and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, in Deerfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Pretrial conference set for Nov. 26.

Judge David Ross Orange, Oct. 15

Justin W. Alsip, 21, of Main Street, Athol. Charged with assault and battery. Defendant was placed on pretrial probation Jan. 14, 2020.

Zackary D. Whittenburg, 27, of Leonard Circle, Lowell. Charged with OUI-liquor, second offense, a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, state highway traffic violation and speeding in violation of special regulation. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Nov. 18.

Megan M. O’Loughlin, 22, of Conant Road, Athol. Charged with assault and battery. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Nov. 18.

Brian J. Santana, 35, of Freedom Street, Athol. Charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Defendant pled guilty with special conditions to pay $100 in fines and fees.

Joshua W. Gleason, 38, of East Main Street, Orange. Charged with violating an abuse prevention order. Defendant was placed on probation until April 13, 2021, with special conditions to serve one year at the house of correction and complete drug court.

Judge William Mazanec III Greenfield, Oct. 16

Donte Davidson, 20, of Sycamore Street, Springfield. Charge of possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance, amended, in Greenfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Sentenced to nine months in the house of correction, direct, with credit, and all monies reinstated. Charge of possession of a Class B drug was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

Shirley Roman-Figueroa, 32, of West Boulevard, Hartford, Conn. Charges of intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official and threatening to commit crime, by Greenfield Police. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Nov. 19. The counsel fee was waived.

Sean A. Hanley, 58, of Norwood Street, Greenfield. Charge of OUI-liquor over .08 percent, second offense, by Greenfield Police. Defendant was placed on probation until Oct. 15, 2021, with two years loss of license, OUI victims assessment of $50, head injury assessment of $250 and victim witness assessment of $50. Must not have alcohol, with screenings, and must complete a Gandara program. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Admission to sufficient facts accepted and sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until Oct. 15, 2020, with the same conditions as in Count 1. Found not responsible on a charge of a marked lanes violation. The counsel fee of $150 must be paid. The probation supervision fee of $65 is required monthly, as needed.

Brian D. Cornwell, 56, of Federal Street, Greenfield. Charge of miscellaneous municipal ordinance/bylaw violations, by Greenfield Police. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Dec. 23.

Jamel Newman, 33, of East Hadley Road, Amherst. Charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and uninsured motor vehicle, by Sunderland Police, were both dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible on a charge of driving at a rate of speed exceeding the posted limit.

Omar J. Walker, 36, of Maple Street, Bridgeport, Conn. Charge of being a fugitive from justice on a governor’s warrant, with bail being of $100,000 cash or $500,000 surety. Pretrial conference set for Oct. 28.

Jordan Register, 20, of Chapman Street, Greenfield. Charges of a number plate violation, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and receiving stolen property of under $1,200, by Greenfield Police. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Dec. 30.

Jordan Register, 20, of Chapman Street, Greenfield. Charges of receiving stolen property of under $1,200, breaking and entering a building in daytime for felony, larceny of under $1,200, possession of a Class E drug, possession of a Class F drug and possession outside a residence. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Dec. 30. The counsel fee of $150 must be paid.

Quintin F. Fowlkes, 28, of Sunnybrook Road, Springfield. Charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and uninsured motor vehicle were dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

Melanie A. Kazanowski, 48, of Townsend Street, Athol. Charged with a motor vehicle lights violation and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Found not responsible for Count 1. Count 2 was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

Shawn M. Peckham, 38, of Athol. Charged with resisting arrest. Arraigned and held. Released on $100 bail. Pretrial conference set for Nov. 18.

Marc W. Jolly, 23, of Willow Street, Fitchburg. Charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, violating an abuse prevention order and speeding in violation of a special regulation. Found guilty on Count 1, with special conditions of 10 days in the house of correction; guilty for Count 2 with special conditions to serve six months in the house of correction, with credit for time served. Found not responsible for Count 3.

Ryan A. Parent, 30, of Daniel Shays Highway, Orange. Charged with violating an abuse prevention order. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Dec. 2.

Thomas K. Schmidt, 50, of West Street, Dedham. Charged with a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI-liquor, fourth offense or greater. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance with special conditions. Must not drive until the Registry of Motor Vehicles restores his license, must pass drug and alcohol screenings, and must pass a breathalyzer unit and report to probation in Orange until that unit is available. Pretrial conference set for Dec. 10.

Ryan J. Pultorak, 29, of Columbian Avenue, Athol. Charged with two counts of assault and battery on a family/household member. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Dec. 10.
