Judge David Ross Orange, June 10

Gregory S. Bryant II, 33, of West River Street, Orange. Charged with assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance and special conditions. Pretrial hearing is set for Aug. 16.

Amber L. Sullivan, 46, of French Street, Tewksbury. Charged with possession to distribute a Class E drug and conspiracy to violate drug law. Arraigned and held. Bail was set at $500. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 19.

Rafael Silva, 25, of East River Street, Orange. Charged with assault and battery on a household or family member, vandalizing property and Class B drug possession. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is set for Aug. 9.

Brent Covington, 31, of Prospect Street, Orange. Charged with three counts of Class B drug possession. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. First appearance in jury session is set for Aug. 13. Jury trial is set for Aug. 27.

James J. Murphy, 26, of Common Street, Athol. Charged with disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. Pled guilty. Time served.

David E. Pratt, 44, of French Street, Tewksbury. Charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, possession to distribute a Class E drug, possession to distribute a Class D drug, conspiracy to violate drug law and possession of a Class B drug. Arraigned and held. Bail was set for $500. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 19.

Judge David Ross Orange, June 11

Tyler Godfrey, 31, of Millers Falls Road, Northfield. Charged with OUI-liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop or yield, and driving at a rate exceeding the posted speed limit. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. First appearance in jury session, OUI-liquor was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. Defendant was not found responsible for failure to stop or yield. Was found responsible for speed exceeding the posted limit and was fined $105. Jury trial is scheduled for June 26.

Judge David Ross Orange, June 17

Timothy Britt, 37, of High Street, Orange. Charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Sufficient facts found but continued without a finding until Dec. 16. Special conditions to complete a safe driving course and altitudinal dynamics of driving course at the registry of motor vehicles.

Scott A. Berry, 42, of Eagleville Road, Orange. Charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, number plate violation and lights violation. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. During the pretrial hearing, the defendant was placed on probation and issued four hours of community service to be completed by July 15.

Melanie M. Vorce, 36, of West Street, Greenfield. Charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 12.

Lawrence J. Laffond, 48, of Pequoig Avenue, Athol. Charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, shoplifting by concealing merchandise and disturbing the peace. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 12.

Thomas M. Lafrennie, 31, of Winthrop Street, Athol. Charged with operating a motor vehicle unlicensed, not in possession of license and driving at a rate exceeding the posted speed limit. Arraigned and held. All charges were dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

Jerome J. Martin, 29, of West Main Street, Orange. Charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. A warrant was issued.

Travis L. Richardson, 28, of Athol. Charged with a second offense of shoplifting by asportation, trespassing and disguise to obstruct justice. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing held and event was resolved. Defendant was found guilty to shoplifting by asportation, second offense, and ordered to pay a fine of $100. All other charges were dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Scott H. Losier, 49, of Main Street, Berlin, N.H. Charged with OUI-drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a Class C drug, failure to stop for police and a marked lanes violation. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 26.

Ryan W. Erickson, 27, of Greenwood Street, Gardner. Charged with trespassing, resisting arrest and criminal harassment. Arraigned and released on personal recognizance with special conditions to be monitored by GPS and to stay away from Cooke Place, Athol.

Timothy J. Deblase, 39, of Congress Street, Greenfield. Charged with OUI-liquor, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and special regulation speeding violation. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 19.

Ernane B. Darocha, 39, of Dedham Street, Revere. Charged with operating a motor vehicle unlicensed. Arraigned and held. Released on personal recognizance. Defendant was ordered to pay a fine of $50.

Judge David Ross Orange, June 18

Donald Grenier, 79, of Orange. Charged with two counts of aggravated rape five-year age difference of a child, two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, and open and gross lewdness. Arraigned and held with no bail. Will meet with council on July 1 and pretrial hearing is scheduled for Oct. 15.

Jarrod D. Avant, 40, of Cottage Street, Athol. Charged with assault and battery, and strangulation or suffocation. Defendant was found guilty for assault and battery and found guilty without prejudice for strangulation or suffocation. Sentence was suspended at the house of correction for 18 months until Dec. 18, 2020, with special conditions to undergo a mental health evaluation and treatment.

Shazam Suarez, 26, of Albemarle Street, Springfield. Charge of assault and battery on a correctional facility employee, in Greenfield by the Franklin County House of Correction. Cash bail set at $100. The counsel fee was waived.

Yasin Khan, 41, of Park Street, West Springfield. Charges of assault and battery, indecent assault and battery on a person age 14 or older, and accosting and annoying another person, by Greenfield Police. Bail of $100 cash. Pretrial conference set for July 10.

Judge Laurie MacLeod Greenfield, June 20

Anthony W. Ruehle, 44, of Union Street, Greenfield. Charge of assault and battery on a family or household member, by Greenfield Police. Special conditions of no drugs or alcohol, with screenings. Pretrial conference set for Aug. 1. The counsel fee of $150 must be paid.

Alfonso Lopez, 45, of Alderman Street, Springfield. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, by Whately Police. Court cost of $50 was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible on a charge of motor vehicle lights violations.

Daniel J. Phillips, 46, of Bernardo Drive, Montague. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, by Montague Police. Court cost of $50 was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.

Isriah Cotton, 22, of 3rd Street, Fitchburg. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, by Northfield Police. Defendant was placed on pretrial probation until July 19. Found not responsible on a charge of marked lanes violation. The probation supervision fee was $50, and must be paid monthly, if required.

Jonathan L. Baker-McGee, 31, of Plumtree Road, Sunderland. Charge of kidnapping, by Sunderland Police. Must abide by a 209A. Pretrial conference set for July 29. The counsel fee of $150 must be paid, as well as the counsel contribution of $50.

Daniel T. Ely, 39, of Rockingham Street, Bellows Falls, Vt. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense, in Greenfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Fine of $100. Found not responsible on a charge of number plate violation.

Ramon L. Nives, 37, of Avenue A, Turners Falls. Charges of no inspection, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and uninsured motor vehicle, by Montague Police. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial conference set for Aug. 9.

Khair Uldin Abdul Raheem, 31, of Leyfred Terrace, Springfield. Charges of failure to wear a seat belt, possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug law, in Greenfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Released on personal recognizance, with the potential of bail revocation. Pretrial conference set for July 24. The counsel fee was waived.

Judge William Mazanec III Greenfield, June 24

Faine A. Furstenfeld, 41, of Lower Road, Deerfield. Charge of assault and battery on a family or household member, by Deerfield Police. Released on special conditions and the potential of bail revocation. Pretrial conference set for Aug. 1. The counsel fee was waived.

Patrick M. Clark, 25, of South Shelburne Road, Greenfield. Charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise, by Greenfield Police. Pretrial conference set for Aug. 5.

Yannick Kemgni-Djotsa, 32, Chapman Street, Greenfield. Found responsible on a charge of marked lanes violation. Fine of $100. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, defendant was placed on pretrial probation. Found not responsible on a charge of registration not in possession. Charge of OUI-drugs, was found to be nolle prosequi. The counsel fee of $150 must be paid.
