Judge David Ross Orange, July 19

Alec R. Thornton, 26, of Limerick Street, Gardner. Charged with assault and battery on a household/family member and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 30.

Bryce M. Cass, 29, of Old Keene Road, Athol. Charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 10.

Jennifer L. Moore, 43, of Allen Street, Athol. Charged with a marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Released on personal recognizance. The defendant was found responsible on Count 1 and sufficient facts were found for Count 2, but continued without a finding until July 18, 2020.

Jennifer L. Moore, 43, of Allen Street, Athol. Charged with OUI-liquor. Pretrial hearing was held and sufficient facts were found, but continued without a finding until July 17, 2020, with special conditions to complete a drug and alcohol education program, 45-day loss of license and complete a 24-question evaluation and treatment.

Juan R. Vega, 45, of Cottage Street, Athol. Charged with possession of a Class B drug. Released on bail. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 16.

Cassandra L. Girouard, 20, of Lake Street, Athol. Charged with assault and battery on a household/family member. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 10.

Jacob Bassett, 24, of Ward Street, Athol. Charged with assault and battery on a household/family member. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 10.

Joshua Pierce, 39, of Fairview Ave, Athol. Charged with two counts of larceny under $1,200. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 10.

Zachary M. Crooks-Stroker, 25, of Main Street, Athol. Charged with assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 10.

Judge William Mazanec III Greenfield, July 22

Andrew R. Lesenski, 31, of Millers Falls Road, Northfield. Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an open container of alcohol and OUI-liquor in a motor vehicle, in Bernardston by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Released on personal recognizance. Must not consume alcohol, and must report to probation for screens, with potential of bail revocation. The counsel fee was changed to 16 hours of community service.

Conner W. Begun, 22, of Benjamin Road, Shirley. Charged with a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI-liquor. During first appearance in jury session, the defendant was found not responsible for Count 1, and Count 2 was dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth. Count 3 had sufficient facts found but was continued without a finding until July 21, 2020, with special conditions to complete a drug and alcohol education program and 45-day loss of license. Jury trial is scheduled for July 29.

Samantha A. Marion, 30, of Sandra Drive, Orange. Charged with operating a motor vehicle unlicensed and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violations. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing set for July 26.

Jessica L. Burgess, 41, of Baldwinville Road, Baldwinville. Charged with trespassing. The defendant pled guilty and was placed on probation until Jan. 21, 2020, with special conditions that the defendant not enter a property on Ellis Street, New Salem.

Mark A. Chartier, 59, of Coolidge Street, Athol. Charged with two counts of improper storage of a firearm. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 9.

Stephanie Lafountain, 31, of Chestnut Street, Athol. Charged with credit card fraud under $1,200 and larceny under $1,200 by false pretense. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 9.

Elizabeth E. Dame, 20, of Lombard Avenue, Athol. Charged with assault and battery on a family/household member. Released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing set for Sept. 6.

Judge David Ross Orange, July 23

Leonard E. Campbell, 54, of East Main Street, Orange. Charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Released on personal recognizance. The defendant pled guilty and was placed on probation with six months at the house of correction being suspended until July 21, 2020, and special conditions to stay 20 yards away from the victim.
