Montague, Sept. 6

10:08 a.m. — A Park Street caller states her son’s white Diamondback BMX-style bicycle was stolen from their residence last night.

Greenfield, Sept. 7

8:41 p.m. — Accident with injuries reported on Deerfield Street, near NAPA Auto Parts.

Montague, Sept. 7

10:48 a.m. — Message left to report missing resident, a 71-year-old woman with dementia. Was permitted to leave LaBelle’s Rest Home in Shelburne Falls but did not return when she was supposed to. Shelburne Control advised. Woman wearing pink/purple shirt, jeans, blue/white sneakers, possibly carrying dark green or blue reusable shopping bag.

12:08 p.m. — Caller reporting during his rounds at Southworth Paper Mill on Canal Street that he found a door pried open. Last time the caller was on site was Friday and the door was not in this condition. Detective Sgt. Joshua Hoffman advises there does appear to be fresh damage, will be checking the building. No one inside. Hoffman requesting DPW come out to secure building.

6:29 p.m. — Caller states she witnessed a man urinating in the middle of Peskeomskut Park on Avenue A. Entire park and nearby stores and parking lots checked. Unable to locate.

8:17 p.m. — Caller at the intersection of Turnpike Road and Dell Street states two people are having a heated argument across the street. Another caller reporting the two women got into a physical altercation and one of them slapped and choked the other one, then sped off in a car. Victim was offered medical attention, but declined. She also declined to pursue any charges at this time. Advised of her court options and to call 911 if anyone returns to her home.

Greenfield, Sept. 8

3:47 p.m. — Accident with injuries on Solon Street.

10:25 p.m. — Motor vehicle theft reported at The Elizabeth Home on Congress Street.

Montague, Sept. 8

1:39 p.m. — A Third Street caller would like to speak to an officer about harassing text messages in which someone is threatening to get her son locked up. Officer Nathan Pervere called. No answer. Message left.

2:54 p.m. — Human resources manager at Lightlife Foods on Industrial Boulevard would like to speak to an officer about an employee who stole cash while on shift.

8:31 p.m. — Caller states she would like it on record that her granddaughter was playing at the park on G Street when a man threatened her with a pocket knife. Unaware of where man lives. Units advised.

Greenfield, Sept. 9

10:49 a.m. — Illegal dumping reported on Davis Street.

Montague, Sept. 9

1:07 a.m. — A Davis Street caller states she watched two teenagers attempt to get into every vehicle on the street. Described as wearing dark hoodies. Caller states they were hanging around a neighbor’s car for a while, but when she spoke to them they took off toward Dell Street. Officers checked area on foot and by cruiser. Nothing found.

2:12 p.m. — Officer Kent Hager from Athol Police Department requesting a check at an address on G Street for a juvenile who ran away from a foster home in Athol at around 2 a.m. Resident at the address is the juvenile’s brother. Address checked. Involved does not live at the address and the brother has no information on him. Athol Police notified.

Greenfield, Sept. 10

1:49 a.m. — Breaking-and-entering attempt on Bradford Drive.

9:19 a.m. — Hypodermic needle found on Barr Avenue.

10:10 a.m. — Illegal dumping reported at The Arbors at Greenfield, on Meridian Street.

3:42 p.m. — Hypodermic needle found near the Greenfield swimming pool on Nash’s Mill Road.

10:49 p.m. — Accident reported in the northbound lane of Interstate 91, near mile-marker 47.4.
