Greenfield, Sept. 11

7:06 a.m. — Tylor Stephen Schafron, 29, homeless, was arrested for larceny from a building.

10:08 a.m. — Hypodermic needle found in the parking lot by the Fire Station.

2:16 p.m. — A red 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan was involved in an accident with a white 2014 Honda Odyssey in the Interstate 91 rotary.

Montague, Sept. 11

6:11 p.m. — A Sherman Drive caller states her neighbor’s lawn mower has been idling for more than 45 minutes. Officer Moody advised.

6:47 p.m. — A Masonic Avenue caller requests police advise a woman to stop giving him the finger from the house across the street. Officer Justin Moody advised.

8:35 p.m. — Caller in the area of 426 Millers Falls Road states he hit a deer with his vehicle and the deer is severely injured. Deer was dispatched. DPW advised.

10:11 a.m. — Larceny reported at Weldon House on High Street.

Montague, Sept. 12

3:59 p.m. — Randall Road caller complaining of a band playing very loudly outside. Advised of complaint and noise ordinance.

6 p.m. — A G Street caller states sometime in the past three hours, someone backed into his car and did some front-end damage. Witness describes a dark gray or black Jeep Liberty that backed into her car. Vehicle should have rear-end damage. Officer James Ruddock requesting a BOLO be put out to stop and hold vehicle if located.

12:01 p.m. — Hypodermic needle found on Arch Street.

8:17 p.m. — Jamie Sears, 49, of Devens Street in Greenfield, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, two counts of threatening to commit a crime, and four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Montague, Sept. 13

1:54 p.m. — Caller at Turners Falls High School’s parking lot on Turnpike Road reports a man driving a green Nissan Altima was racing his car through the school parking lot and there are children riding their bikes. Officer Daniel Miner advised.

Greenfield, Sept. 14

1:15 p.m. — Illegal dumping reported at Log Plain Road.

1:16 p.m. — Hypodermic needle found on Federal Street.

Montague, Sept. 14

11:53 a.m. — DPW superintendent reports some kind of spill on Montague City Road. DPW will have a sander come out.

3:48 p.m. — Caller states that yesterday he saw what he believes to be a human body part by the river at the end of East Mineral Road. Units checked the area extensively; unable to locate.

5:30 p.m. — Caller found a stray cat and is inquiring about options for what to do with it. Animal control officer advises to call the Dakin Humane Society. Caller advised.

8:39 p.m. — Report of an illegal burn on Turner Street. Units advised.

8:40 a.m. — Larceny reported at Home Depot on the Mohawk Trail.

10:26 a.m. — Larceny reported at Greenfield Cooperative Bank on Federal Street.

4:37 p.m. — Illegal dumping reported at Petty Plain Road.

7:29 p.m. — Illegal dumping reported on Elm Street.

9:07 p.m. — Hit-and-run reported at Ryan & Casey Liquors on Main Street.

10:28 a.m. — Red 2018 Honda Accord theft reported at Lundgren Honda of Greenfield on Federal Street.

2:30 p.m. — Larceny reported on Davis Street.

5:10 p.m. — Malicious destruction to a blue 2017 Honda Civic reported at Valley Medical Group on Conway Street.

Montague, Sept. 16

8:18 p.m. — Report of suspicious activity from yesterday. A Greenfield Road caller states his neighbor observed two men in the woods behind the caller’s house watching caller’s property while caller’s children played. Neighbor approached the subjects to confront them, at which time they fled toward Randall Road and took off in a white Eurovan with ladders on it. Sgt. Joshua Hoffman called back the caller; advised of options. Hoffman requests extra patrols by first and second shift, and he will also do extra patrols today.

8:25 a.m. — Hypodermic needle found on Bank Row.

2:19 p.m. — Larceny reported at Freedom Credit Union on Main Street.

Montague, Sept. 17

10:12 p.m. — Serina Annette Cook, 23, of Grand Avenue in Millers Falls, was arrested for speeding, OUI-liquor over .08 percent, a marked lanes violation and an unregistered motor vehicle.

Greenfield, Sept. 18

3:51 p.m. — Breaking and entering at the Greenfield Self Storage Center on Woodard Road.

9:16 p.m. — Accident with injuries reported at Green Fields Market on Main Street.

11:06 p.m. — Larceny reported at the Greenfield parking garage on Olive Street.

Montague, Sept. 18

12:38 p.m. — Third Street caller reporting he gave someone permission to access his computer remotely, but they are still accessing his computer and he wants them to stop. Caller advised the person claimed to be from Microsoft, but he doesn’t believe that is true.

2:22 p.m. — Report of vandalism to caller’s vehicle on Keith Street.

3:55 p.m. — Owner of Subway on Avenue A reports receiving several harassing phone calls from a man because the business doesn’t accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

Greenfield, Sept. 20

9:19 p.m. — Benjamin Phillips, 41, homeless, was arrested for trespassing, disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery, and threatening to commit a crime.

9:35 p.m. — Hit-and-run reported at Leyden Woods’ Management Office on Leyden Woods Lane.

Montague, Sept. 20

12:19 p.m. — Caller at Power Town Apartments on Avenue A states a man named Alex is harassing him by phone and is trying to send him stolen money.

Greenfield, Sept. 21

6:26 p.m. — Accident with injuries reported at Big Y.

6:35 p.m. — Vandalism reported on Riddell Street.

8:48 p.m. — Hit-and-run reported at 224 Federal St.

Greenfield, Sept. 22

9:23 a.m. — Larceny reported on Oak Courts.

2:23 p.m. — Report of a vehicle on fire in the vicinity of Nelson Road.

3:15 p.m. — Hypodermic needle found on Chapman Street.

Montague, Sept. 22

3:29 p.m. — Reporting party came into the station with a loose dog she found; advised by Sgt. Joshua Hoffman to bring the dog to the shelter.

Montague, Sept. 23

5:19 p.m. — Report of an illegal burn on Turners Falls Road. Shelburne Control and Officer James Ruddock advised.
