5:12 p.m. — Accident at intersection of George and High streets.

Montague, Oct. 30

5:39 p.m. — Report of a hypodermic needle on the ground in the parking area near the dog park on East Main Street.

Greenfield, Oct. 31

12:38 p.m. — Accident at hairpin turn on South Shelburne Road.

Greenfield, Nov. 1

5:34 p.m. — Accident reported at Green Fields Market on Main Street.

Greenfield, Nov. 2

9:36 p.m. — Anthony Jeremiah Sumlin, 30, of Turners Falls, was arrested for distribution of a Class A drug, distribution of a Class E drug, intimidation of witness/juror/police/court official, trafficking in cocaine (18 grams or more, less than 36 grams), unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, forge/misuse of an RMV document, and a miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.

Greenfield, Nov. 3

8:59 a.m. — Douglas Wight, 77, of Greenfield, was arrested for violating an harassment prevention order.

10:42 a.m. — Accident at intersection of Federal and Maple streets.

Greenfield, Nov. 4

8:22 a.m. — Hypodermic needle found at Mohawk Mall on Main Street.

11:24 a.m. — Jamie R.M. White, 29, of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant and for possession of a Class A drug. Also charged with resisting arrest.

Montague, Nov. 4

5:37 p.m. — A Third Street caller states a male party threw a soda bottle at his vehicle and then took off running. No damage to the vehicle. Sgt. James Deery advised. Caller will call back if there are future encounters.

Greenfield, Nov. 5

1:55 p.m. — Larceny reported on Fort Square.

Montague, Nov. 5

11:20 a.m. — Two-vehicle accident at intersection of Montague City Road and Walnut Street. No injuries, smoke or fluid, but there is airbag deployment. Montague Police Department, Turners Falls Fire Department and AMR Ambulance advised. Officer Joshua Dobosz advises the accident resulted in property damage to a house on Montague City Road. Dobosz advises groceries from one of the drivers’ vehicles is in the patrol fridge due to vehicle being towed. Driver’s son will pick them up.

5:07 p.m. — Caller reporting her boyfriend was just strangled by another man in Peskeomskut Park on Avenue A. Boyfriend is OK. All parties to leave the park.

Greenfield, Nov. 6

12:14 a.m. — Regina A. Osciak, 70, of Greenfield, was arrested for OUI-liquor over .08 percent, assault with a dangerous weapon, OUI-liquor (with blood alcohol content .08 or greater), and having an unregistered motor vehicle.
