Greenfield, Nov. 20

1:28 p.m. — Accident reported at intersection of Mohawk Trail and River Street.

5:38 p.m. — Assaults and/or battery reported at Smitty’s Pub on Chapman Street.

9:12 p.m. — Hit-and-run reported at intersection of Silver and Federal streets.

Greenfield, Nov. 21

12:35 p.m. — Illegal dumping reported on Hope Street.

2:58 p.m. — Shoplifting reported at Tractor Supply Co. on Newton Street.

4:40 p.m. — Accident reported in the northbound lane of Interstate 91, near mile-marker 50.

4:59 p.m. — Following a traffic stop on Bernardston Road, Kristina Lee Hayes, 29, of Westfield, was arrested for OUI-liquor over .08 percent and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

9:28 p.m. — Larceny reported at Stop & Shop on French King Highway.

Greenfield, Nov. 22

8:45 p.m. — Jose Dones, 28, of Chicopee, was arrested for assault on a family/household member, assault and battery on a family/household member, threatening to commit a crime, and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Montague, Nov. 22

9:59 p.m. — Caller states she hit a deer in Erving and was able to drive her vehicle away. States she is now on Route 63 and the vehicle is starting smoking and is not drivable. States she is with her 8-year-old granddaughter, both are uninjured and out of the vehicle. Units advised. Rau’s requested for a tow.

Greenfield, Nov. 23

12:28 a.m. — Yarras Fletcher, 31, of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant, and also faces charges of resisting arrest and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.

2:43 a.m. — Hypodermic needle found near the John W. Olver Transit Center on Olive Street.

9:55 a.m. — Accident with injuries reported at intersection of South Shelburne Road and Gould Drive.

7:45 p.m. — Motor vehicle theft reported at Bayberry Court.

Montague, Nov. 23

3:52 p.m. — A Grant Street caller states he was walking his dog when another dog came running out of its yard, across the street and started attacking him and his dog. Caller states his hand is bleeding and he is taking himself to the hospital. He will call when he gets back to speak to an officer. Message left for animal control officer.

8:53 p.m. — An L Street caller states the neighbor is burning trash in a grill and the smell is very bad. Fire Department responding.

Greenfield, Nov. 24

4:04 a.m. — Breaking-and-entering reported on five vehicles on Grinnell Street.

10:41 a.m. — Breaking-and-entering into a vehicle reported on Grinnell Street.

4:04 p.m. — Larceny reported at Swift Cleaners at 14 Main St.

Montague, Nov. 24

5:04 p.m. — Caller states a tractor-trailer may have taken out a fire hydrant near the railroad tracks by East Main Street. Caller reports the tractor-trailer is heading west on Millers Falls Road. No police free at this time. Water Department notified. Hydrant located between the two railroad tracks.

Greenfield, Nov. 25

9:45 a.m. — Assault and/or battery reported at Energy Park.

5:35 p.m. — Alfredo Torres, 52, of Greenfield, was arrested for distribution of a Class A substance (subsequent offense), possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug and possession of a Class B substance (subsequent offense).

Montague, Nov. 25

8:29 a.m. — Officer Nathan Pervere located four tires on the side of Industrial Boulevard. DPW notified.

Greenfield, Nov. 27

8:48 a.m. — Hypodermic needle found near McCarthy Funeral Home on Bank Row.

12:20 p.m. — Assault and/or battery reported near 201 Main St.

Montague, Nov. 27

6:18 a.m. — A Bulkley Street caller states her car was broken into overnight and she is missing her purse. Caller called back saying when she called her bank to cancel one of her cards she discovered an unauthorized charge. Caller will be going to the bank after work to get a printout of the charge(s) and will bring that paperwork to the Police Department.

8:58 a.m. — Caller reporting illegal dumping at his rental property on Turners Falls Road. Advised of options.

2:53 p.m. — Report of a stolen package on Central Street.

3:39 p.m. — Caller states he arrived at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 84 K St. to set up for Mass and it appears someone smeared feces on the statue of Mary. Chief Christopher Williams advised.

6:46 p.m. — Anonymous report of a deer carcass in the bike path area of Depot Street. Caller states it appears that somebody took the meat and antlers from the animal and dumped the carcass. Officer Cody Wells advised. Environmental Police advised.

7:59 p.m. — A Grove Street caller states there is a man insisting that she give him a ride because his vehicle is broken down somewhere between 9 and 17 Grove St. Caller states the man will not give any of his information and stated he does not have a cellphone. Units advised. Man was gone on arrival. Man was observed in the area of Scotty’s Convenience Store. Stephen M. Smola, 27, of Palmer, was arrested on a straight warrant. Registered owner of the vehicle said she was making arrangements to have it towed.

9:13 p.m. — Greenfield Police Department requests an officer check the area of 382 Turners Falls Road for any signs of a vehicle crash. Greenfield PD states a man heard the crash and followed the vehicle to Federal Street in Greenfield, where it is now on fire. Officer Todd Michon reports guard rail damage in the area of 366 and 382. Someone was arrested for leaving the scene of property damage and a marked-lanes violation, but the name was redacted by police.

Greenfield, Nov. 28

10:19 a.m. — Dennis Armando Semidey, 38, of Greenfield, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, distribution of a Class A drug and possession of a Class A Drug (subsequent offense).

Montague, Nov. 28

8:59 p.m. — Report of a five-vehicle accident on the General Pierce Bridge. Caller states a car ran the red light and hit the car in front of hers head-on. Caller’s vehicle involved as well. No injuries for either. Caller states the vehicle that caused the accident took off toward Turners Falls on Montague City Road. Turners Falls Fire Department responding. Montague Police units on another call. Sgt. James Deery requests Greenfield Police respond. Greenfield PD reports they are at Avenue A and Fourth Street with the vehicle that caused the accident. Massachusetts State Police responding.

Greenfield, Nov. 29

9:07 a.m. — Breaking-and-entering into a motor vehicle reported on Conway Street.

3:12 p.m. — Breaking-and-entering into a motor vehicle reported on Orchard Street.

4:16 p.m. — Breaking-and-entering into a motor vehicle reported on Beech Street.

Montague, Nov. 29

4:12 p.m. — Off-duty officer reporting vandalism to a tarp covering a boat on Hillside Road.
