Greenfield and Montague Police Logs: Nov. 12 to Nov. 22, 2020

Montague, Nov. 12

2:27 p.m. — Using translation service, a Seventh Street caller states a man stole some movies from the store and is walking home with them hidden under his jacket. Described as a gray jacket with white lettering on the front. Possible intoxication. No call received from store at this time. Checked the area; nobody matching description found.

Montague, Nov. 13

1:32 a.m. — Officer at scene of disabled motor vehicle on First Street. Vehicle lost its muffler. Driver was able to tie it back on and head on his way.

3:35 p.m. — Report of a used needle at the intersection Cross Street and Vladish Avenue. Officer Cody Wells advised. Located and removed needle.

5:56 p.m. — A Millers Falls Road caller states he was walking home from work when he was bit by a dog. Broke the skin, but no major injuries. Caller did not get owner’s information. Described as a tan, medium-sized dog.

8:34 p.m. — A caller in the 104 Third St. apartment building states he posted something on Facebook earlier that he is now being targeted for. States there are multiple kids circling his house and hanging around the area waiting for him to come outside. Units advised. Officer Daniel Miner spoke with the kids in a vehicle; said they are just hanging out. All parties separated for the night. Caller’s mother threatened to beat them up with a baseball bat if they return.

Greenfield, Nov. 14

5:45 p.m. — Accident with injuries reported in the southbound lane of Interstate 91, mile-marker 41.4.
