Mayor Walk: The public is invited to learn more about what is happening in Greenfield during the mayor’s final walk of the season at Highland Park on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Rec the Night Boo Bash: Kids in grades five through seven are invited to attend a spooky event full of ghosts, games, music and more on Friday, Oct. 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 20 Sanderson St. Participants are encouraged to come in costume as there will be a costume contest. Downtown Trick or Treat and Rag Shag Parade: Residents are invited to come downtown on Thursday, Oct. 31, for trick or treating from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The Recreation Department will be handing out free reflective bags on the Greenfield Common. The Rag Shag Parade will start at 5:45 p.m. at Mohawk Mall and end at Energy Park with costume judging and prizes. Costume contest categories include Best Homemade, Funniest, Best Cartoon Character, Scariest, Cutest, Adult Open Category, Group/Family Category and Best Howl-o-Ween Costume. There will also be a free showing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Garden Cinemas.

Adult Dodgeball Tournament: This double-elimination adult dodgeball tournament, planned for Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. at Greenfield Middle School, will support the 2025 Greenfield fireworks.
