Greenfield Military Band: Every Tuesday evening in July, the Greenfield Military Band plays at Energy Park. Bring your blankets, chairs and a picnic.

Greenfield Criterium: Back Bay Cycling Club (B2C2) brings the Greenfield Criterium, Sunday, July 14, 9 a.m., to downtown Greenfield. The Greenfield Criterium will offer a day of racing for beginners to seasoned professionals in a downtown, 1 kilometer, four-corner criterium. Learn to Play Golf: Learn the basic fundamentals of golf, from course etiquette to stance. Clubs are available for this program or you may bring your own. Thursday, July 18. Ages 6 to 8 from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. and ages 9 to 11 from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. at the Green River Swimming Area. Program is free, but advance registration is required.

Movie in the Park: “The Kid Who Would be King,” Friday, July 19, at 9 p.m. at the Green River Swimming and Recreation Area. Movies begin at dusk (around 9 p.m.) but arrive early for a magic performance by Ed the Wizard at 7 p.m. Pack a picnic and bring your blanket. Daily gate rates apply. Sponsored by Safe Schools Safe Streets and Franklin First Federal Credit Union.

Celebrate the Dog Days of Summer: Come to the Paws Park of Greenfield at Green River Park on Saturday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for this family-friendly event featuring vendors, demonstrations, paw print casting, make your own tug toys, doggie contests, dog and owner obstacle course, and more.

Emma’s Revolution at Energy Park: Sunday, July 21, at 6 p.m. With beautiful harmonies and genre-defying eclecticism, Emma’s Revolution delivers the energy and strength of their convictions, in an uprising of truth and hope. $20 suggested donation.
