Greenfield, June 8

4:34 a.m. – Caller in a Franklin Street apartment would like to report all of the criminals in his life. Advised to speak with one of our detectives.

8:50 a.m. – Catalytic converter apparently stolen from at least one RV at New England RV Repair Inc. (A later call revealed it was two catalytic converters.)

11:20 a.m. – Caller reports a silver SUV with two people in it has been in the Days Inn parking lot off and on for days. People are apparently sleeping in the vehicle and relieving themselves in the parking lot. Party moved along.

5:02 p.m. – Report of a hypodermic needle at the intersection of Colrain Street and Colrain Road.

Greenfield, June 10

4:10 p.m. – SR reporting older man making inappropriate sexual gestures from his black truck toward her in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree on the Mohawk Trail and that he moved his truck to follow her at one point. Located involved man via license plate. Found to be man from Sunderland. Info passed to its PD for follow-up.

Greenfield, June 12

2:07 p.m. – Caller reports someone called him yesterday stating they are Amazon. Caller stated they stole $1,000 from him. No answer on call back.

3:12 p.m. – Report of two Baystate Franklin Medical Center security guards recently assaulted by a patient. Report taken.

4:14 p.m. – Winslow building employee on High Street reporting “LM” has been in the area recently, attempting to gain access to building by following behind residents. Gone on arrival. Unable to locate.

Greenfield, June 16

12:24 p.m. – FRTA would like a passenger removed from the bus for refusing to follow safety procedures. Female on bus refusing to wear a mask, also refusing to put a mask on her toddler. Advised her of the bus company’s mask policy and she proceeded to say that it was racist to ask her to wear a mask. Subject eventually got off the bus.

Greenfield, June 17

2:48 a.m. – Lucas E. Pereira dos Santos, 25, of Central Falls, R.I., arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and rate of speed greater than was reasonable and proper.

Greenfield, June 18

12:43 a.m. – Caller stated he and his father-in-law were almost hit by a speeding car on Hope Street. Caller reports that the light blue mini van, which pulled into the driveway for a duplex on Hope Street. Caller reports when he went down the street to advise the driver to slow down in the neighborhood, the mother came out and started to call him a racist. Since she made that comment, he wanted it on file.

4:09 p.m. – Caller near Cherry Rum Laundry on Federal Street reports a baby bird on pavement may have jumped from nest. Caller believes it is too hot for bird. Bird given water and taken inside. Caller given information for animal control officer.

4:30 p.m. – Caller on Devens Street reports a “Black Lives Matter” sign stolen from her yard, though the wire base was left. Just wants it on record.

6:06 p.m. – KP reporting OP delivers for Hangar and went to an address on Washington Street and was bit and attacked by a dog, OP now at hospital. Officer to investigate. No tag info for dog. Spoke with animal control officer. He will follow up with victim tomorrow. Emailed ACO photos of injuries.

Greenfield, June 19

6:26 a.m. – Caller on Cross Street reports an injured squirrel on his lawn.

Greenfield, June 20

2:35 p.m. – Caller reports a person on a bicycle and a car got into it at the intersection of Main and Federal streets. Caller stated the driver of the car tried to run the bicyclist over and drove off. Caller is not sure if either party will call the police. He just wanted it logged.

10:54 p.m. – Malcom Burris, 46, of Greenfield, arrested for possession to distribute a Class A drug, possession to distribute a Class B drug, attaching plates to a motor vehicle, a subsequent charge of possession to distribute a Class B drug, possession to distribute a Class E drug, a marked lanes violation, having an unregistered motor vehicle, and having an uninsured motor vehicle.

Greenfield, June 21

9:29 a.m. – Employee at Home Depot reports sometime since 11 a.m. yesterday someone wrote “I will kill everyone tomorrow with a boom” on the wall in the men’s bathroom. Spoke with the caller. Checked the interior and the exterior of the building.

Greenfield, June 23

9:04 p.m. – Matthew S. Morrell, 33, of Clinton, Conn., arrested for carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, and a firearms violation with two prior violent/drug crimes.
