Attorney to present ‘Know Your Rights’ virtual program

GREENFIELD — Racial Justice Rising will present a free online program called “Know Your Rights” on Monday, Oct. 4, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

According to a Racial Justice Rising press release, attorney Rebecca Kozak of the National Lawyers Guild will teach attendees their rights and effective tactics if they have an encounter with the police. The workshop will be participant-oriented, and will allow time for questions.

Moose Lodge serving pasta, haddock

GREENFIELD — The Moose Lodge at 20 School St. will serve spaghetti and meatballs with salad, bread and dessert for its Pasta Night on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. Meals cost $10.

Additionally, on Friday, also from 6 to 7 p.m., the Moose Lodge will serve baked haddock with coleslaw, a roll and dessert for $12.

Dine-in and takeout options are available, and meals can be reserved by calling the Moose Lodge at 413-773-9030. Meals are open to members and qualified guests.
