GREENFIELD — The Mayor’s Office has published a new edition of its quarterly newsletter, “What’s Going on Greenfield?!” The newsletter summarizes major city updates from April to June.

GREENFIELD — Children up to age 12 can bring one stuffed animal each to drop off at the Greenfield Public Library for a special “stuffies only” sleepover on Tuesday, June 25, between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Library staff will tap into the security cameras and take photos to find out what the stuffies get up to overnight.

GREENFIELD — Patrons ages 13 and up can get the Greenfield Public Library’s Meta Quest VR headsets on Friday, June 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. Thirty-minute gaming periods will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Public Library welcomes children up to age 12 for an interactive theater experience with Piti Theatre Co. on Saturday, June 29, at 10:30 a.m.

HAMDEN, Conn. — Alexis Antonellis of Greenfield was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Quinnipiac University.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than a C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.
GREENFIELD — Five Greenfield residents have received A.K. Warner Fund scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. They are: Jacob Blanchard (Greenfield High School), Kelsey Boutwell (Franklin County Technical School), Joshua Ferrara (Greenfield High School), Madison McCarthy (Frontier Regional School) and Marina Osit (Greenfield High School).
These five scholarship recipients have been academically successful, and have participated in school and community activities.
The A.K. Warner Fund was established under the will of Anson K. Warner to provide financial assistance to Greenfield residents between the ages of 14 and 21. The scholarship is awarded for the purpose of paying for room, board or tuition, or materials needed to procure a good education. The trustees, elected by the citizens of Greenfield, meet annually each spring to determine the recipients.
