Ezra Prior to perform ‘Going for Broke’

GREENFIELD — The LAVA Center at 324 Main St. will present local musician Ezra Prior, performing “Going for Broke,” on Friday, Aug. 25, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Prior is a western Massachusetts native who, during the COVID-19 quarantine, wrote, recorded and produced “Going for Broke,” a tangential, tightly wound, yet goofy trip through wanderings of a mind of someone with a brain injury and time to spare. Its music video “Pretty Pose Particles,” produced by Ryan Arnold, was featured in last year’s LAVA Film Festival. The music video can be viewed at bit.ly/44isiKm.

There is a $5 to $10 suggested donation, online at bit.ly/47GqNs2 or at the door. For more information about Prior, visit ezraprior.com.
