GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Girls Softball League kicked off its season on Saturday at Murphy Park, with Franklin First Credit Union squaring off against Freedom Credit Union in Junior Division action. 

Behind a trio of hits and three strikeouts in the circle from Paisley Beck, Freedom walked away with a 1-0 victory. 

Sophie Flores, Alivia Griffith, Emma Reardon and Elyse Reardon each had a hit in the win. Adeline Ebbinghausen and Elise LaPrade each knocked two hits while Danielle Zraunig tallied two hits and three strikeouts in the circle for Franklin. 

Triton Automotive 8, Descavich Plumbing 2 — Lexi Hawkins struck out 15 to lift Triton to a victory over Descavich on Saturday in a Ponytail Division contest. 

Lenyx White, Savannah Portier and Hawkins each had a base hit in the win. Sammi Suhl recorded a double and a single while Alaina Toothaker and Charley Lovett both had a base hit for Descavich. 

Camelot Carpet Cleaners 2, Pristine Orientals 1 — Brady Deane tallied three hits while Charley Deane and Ella Kimball each recorded two hits in Camelot’s 2-1 win over Pristine on Saturday. 

Hayley Sadler knocked three hits while Carley Chadwick and Hayden Sadler both had two hits for Pristine. 

Pipione’s Sport Shop 3, Greenfield Elks Club 2 — Ava Martin, Clara VanDoren, Penelope Gioules and Savannah Daignault each had a pair of hits for Pipione’s in a win over Elks Club on Saturday.

Precision Driving School 17, Gilmore and Farrell 16 — Kalina Pease struck out five while Amy VanDoren and Raven Ziff each added hits in Precision’s Ponytail Division win on Saturday. 

Miley Frey, Ivy Bettencourt and Kaylin Sevoian each had a hit for Gilmore and Farrell.
