Eight seats filled in Gill town election

GILL — There was a “light turnout” of 70 voters who cast ballots during Monday’ annual town election where all positions were uncontested, according to Town Clerk Doreen Stevens.

Winners are as follows:

■Selectboard/Sewer Commission, three-year term — Gregory Snedeker, incumbent, 68 votes.

■Assessor, three-year term — Pam Lester, incumbent, 65 votes.

■Cemetery Commission, three-year term — Patricia Hawkins, 68 votes.

■Tax collector, three-year term — Thomas Hodak, incumbent, 62 votes.

■Board of Health, three-year term — Charles Gabriel, write-in, 14 votes.

■Library trustee, three-year term — Megan Bathory-Peeler, incumbent, 67 votes.
