Wistariahurst Museum

Garden Tour: Sunday, July 15, 10 to 11 a.m. Join city historian and Wistariahurst Curator Penni Martorell and gardener Phyllis Barrett on a guided tour to learn more about the past and present of the gardens at Wistariahurst Museum, 238 Cabot St. in Holyoke. From buildings being dismantled and relocated, to vines planted in the 1880s, the landscape elements at Wistariahurst have a varied and unusual story to tell. Cutting Gardens: Tuesday, July 31, 6:30 p.m. Maureen Dempsey of Intervale Farm will lead a tour of her flower beds and a discussion on cutting gardens. Learn about flower choice, planting methods, staking, pests, irrigation, succession planting, timing of harvest and care after harvest. Intervale Farm, 106 South Road, Westhampton.
