GREENFIELD — A Four Rivers Charter Public School staff member is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation into a report of alleged misconduct.

“Upon receiving the report, impacted families were contacted and we immediately launched an investigation with our established protocols,” Head of School Jenni Manfredi wrote in a letter to the Four Rivers community. “The involved staff member has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.”

Citing the “confidential nature” of the investigation, Manfredi declined to comment further when reached by email on Monday.

The letter, sent to members of the school community on Friday, states that the school intends to remain transparent and will provide updates, while also balancing “the confidentiality and privacy of all parties involved.”

“We remain steadfast in our commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all our students,” Manfredi wrote.

The timing of the investigation comes as the academic year comes to a close, with Wednesday marking the last day of school for students.
