Food Bank of Western Massachusetts organizes Partner Appreciation Days

NORTHFIELD — As part of a 40th anniversary commemoration, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts is honoring members of the frontline emergency food network with four Partner Appreciation Days across Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties.

The first event was held Thursday evening at The Brewery at Four Star Farms in Northfield. State Reps. Natalie Blais, D-Sunderland, and Susannah Whipps, I-Athol, were in attendance.

“We are so privileged to be able to work with such an amazing group of organizations to provide food to our neighbors throughout western Massachusetts,” Christina Maxwell, director of programs at the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, stated in a press release. “We are happy to have an opportunity to celebrate with them and say thank you for all of their incredibly hard work.”
