GREENFIELD — The 62-year-old Feeding Hills woman who was hurt in a head-on collision on Cheapside Street on May 2 died of her injuries two days later, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.

Lyli E. Miodowski was a passenger in the eastbound 1999 GMC Denali her husband, Warren Miodowski, was driving when their vehicle was struck by a 2016 Toyota RAV4 that lost control coming around a right turn and veered into the oncoming lane, according to a report written by Greenfield Police Officer Aaron McCloud. The collision occurred at around at 2:30 p.m.

One person was taken to Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, while the other two went to Baystate Franklin Medical Center, Greenfield Deputy Police Chief William Gordon said previously. Both vehicles were towed.

The Toyota’s 19-year-old driver was issued a citation for failing to use care in turning, Gordon said previously. When reached for comment this week regarding whether further charges will be filed, Gordon advised the case is being handled by Massachusetts State Police. Efforts to reach State Police for more information have been unsuccessful.

Kozikowski Funeral Home in Chicopee is handling funeral arrangements for Lyli Miodowski, according to her obituary.
