Joseph M. Rice, 33, of Chestnut Street, Turners Falls. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member, released on personal recognizance, must have no alcohol and subject to screens, and must have SCRAM unit applied and must report to probation daily until the SCRAM unit is established, continued to 2/16/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Kevin C. Komosa, 35, of Keets Road, Deerfield. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, personal weapons, assault and battery on a pregnant victim, and assault and battery on family/household member, defendant was held pending a dangerousness hearing on 2/9/17, and in that hearing there was a stipulation to dangerousness, and the defendant was released on conditions, including must commit no new crime, must report to probation officer as required, must maintain employment, must stay 50 yards away from a named victim, and another named person, and stay 50 yards away from named locations in South Deerfield, in Granby, at Deerfield Academy, and 100 yards away from a specified location on Keets Road, must comply with exclusion zones, and have GPS applied when available, must refrain from all use of alcohol and drugs, must have a Scram unit applied and report to probation daily unless directed otherwise, must comply with any 209A restraining order, and must have mental health evaluation and take any after-care recommended. A C276, section 56A form was filed by the Commonwealth, and allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A, was found, continued to 3/24/17 for pretrial conference.

Michael C. Skuse, 37, of Depot Road, Leverett. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, in Whately by state police, to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for no inspection sticker.

Taylor Cotter, 24, of Devens Street, Greenfield. Found guilty of disorderly conduct, fined $50. Charges of indecent exposure, amended from open and gross lewdness, and disturbing the peace, were both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Andea Schemp, 37, of Pine Street Extension, Shelburne Falls. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member, released on personal recognizance, a C276, section 56A form was filed by the Commonwealth, allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A was found, continued to 3/17/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Jessica C. Thibeault, 31, of Twichell Street, Athol. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of drugs, but continued without a finding until 2/5/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $707.76. and take any after-care recommended. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, but continued without a finding until 2/5/18 with head-injury assessment of $250, Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month, or perform eight hours a month to community service.

Greenfield, Feb. 7 Judge William Mazanec III

Sharia M. Magee, 33, of Westford. Charge of being the owner of, or the person in control of, a motor vehicle, did knowingly permit such vehicle to be operated by a person who was unlicensed or whose license had been suspended or revoked, in Montague by state police, to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and number plate violation.

John Colleto, 63, of Agawam. Charge of operating with suspended registration, to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for no inspection sticker, Charge of number plate violation to conceal identification, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Jose A. Perez III, 26, of Holyoke. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, in Deerfield by state police, to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for number plate violation, and having an obstructed/nontransparent window.

Mark L. Burgess, 49, of Springfield. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, fourth or greater offense, operating without an interlocking ignition and operating a motor vehicle with suspended license for operating under the influence of liquor, pretrail detention motion filed by the Commonwealth, and after a hearing the defendant was found dangerous, and ordered held up to 120 days, case continued to 3/16/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Orange, Feb. 7, Judge David S. Ross

Tiffany L’Ecuyer, 25, of East River Street, Orange. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a broom, with serious bodily injury, and wanton destruction of property under $250, released on personal recognizance, must stay 50 yards away from a named person, and from her residence, and contact only through another named person, continued to 2/10/17 for pretrial conference. Dale R. West, 51, of Arthur Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant, from Texas, held without right to bail, by agreement, continued to 3/7/17 for status review.
