SHELBURNE — Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office are investigating an unattended death in a Barnard Road residence in Shelburne on Sunday evening.
As of Thursday morning, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner had not determined a cause of death, according to Northwestern District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Mary Carey. An investigation is standard procedure for any unattended death.
The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office has not released the individual’s name.
