GREENFIELD — No foul play is suspected in the death of a man who was found unresponsive in the men’s bathroom at the McDonald’s on Federal Street, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.

Spokesperson Laurie Loisel said police received a 911 call at roughly 8:30 a.m. on Monday regarding an unresponsive man, who was taken to Baystate Franklin Medical Center and pronounced dead.

The cause of death will be determined by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, according to Loisel.

Attempts to contact Gomez Enterprises, the franchise company that owns the McDonald’s restaurant, were unsuccessful.
