Breaking news: Police seek help finding vehicle taken in fatal Orange attack

ORANGE – Police are still looking for a 2003 Toyota Corolla station wagon stolen from the home of a 95-year-old man killed during an apparent home invasion.

As the investigation continues into the Wednesday killing, the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office has confirmed that it was Thomas Harty, 95, who was killed and that his wife, Joanna Fisher, 77, who was seriously injured and remains under care at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

The incident occurred Wednesday evening at their 581 East River St. house.

DA spokeswoman Mary Carey said today the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has yet to determine the cause of Harty’s death. University of Massachusetts Medical Center has not released details about Ms Fisher’s condition.

Orange Police are looking for the 2003 silver-gray 2003 Toyota Corolla wagon they say was stolen from the victims. The license plate number of the stolen vehicle is: M99949. Anyone with information has been asked to call Orange police at 978-544-2128, or to text a tip to 274637.
