Christopher Russo, 38, of Aster Court, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to two charges of aggravated rape of a child, with five-year age difference, two charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, one charge of unnatural act with a child, and attempt to commit a crime were not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, the defendant has been indicted and arraigned in Franklin Superior Court, and the case will be prosecuted in that venue going forward. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or $200,000 surety.

Charges of disorderly conduct, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage and resisting arrest all dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Charge of operating under the influence of drugs was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, as the defendant is pleading to negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Given the fact of this case, that is an appropriate resolution on this matter, and as a result this is in the best interests of justice. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $50 counsel contribution.

Kevin M. Gryckiewicz, 29, of Springfield, Vt. Pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of drugs in Bernardston by state police.
