Historical Society Bazaar set for Saturday

ORANGE — On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors to the Orange Historical Society on 41 North Main St. can purchase tickets that they deposit into decorated cans that are designated for more than 100 prizes donated by area businesses and individuals and valued at close to $4,000. After 2 p.m., a winner will be picked out of each can. The winners will be notified. Some people win more than one prize.

Some of the prizes are: five Hummel figurines; gift certificates to many area restaurants and pizza houses; a handcrafted rocking chair; car oil changes; body oiling; front-end alignments; detailing and service gift certificates; two certificates for Christmas trees; Kindle with case and speakers; tool bags; assorted mechanics tools; a fishing pole and reel; many French King Bowling passes; six $100 gift certificates for two local furniture stores; Craftsmen tool box; socket set; Bear Arms $50.00 gift certificate; two bottles of Home Fruit wine; one case Corona Beer; Crown Royal whiskey, four afghans children’s toys and more.

This is one of the major fundraisers that helps keep Orange Historical Society operating.
