Brady Associates expands with financial advisor

GREENFIELD — Brady Associates, a financial planning company at 40 School St., is expanding with the addition of Financial Advisor Steve C. Kim, who founded Monadnock Financial LLC.

Together, Kim and David W. Brady, president of Brady Associates, will offer financial planning, health care planning, investment management and legacy planning, according to a Brady Associates press release. Due to the partnership, the company is now accepting new clients.

Kim has more than 25 years of global financial market experience, according to the release. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, he worked in New York City, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong as a trader and risk manager for large international banks and asset management firms. Kim earned a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and a master’s degree from the University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie College of Business.

“His extensive experience with investments, individual and group retirement plans, long-term care and Medicare brings another level of services to Brady Associates, helping clients navigate the complexities of Wall Street,” the release states.

Greenfield attorney honored

GREENFIELD — Attorney Mark Berson is being recognized in the 26th edition of “The Best Lawyers of America.”

For more than three decades, Best Lawyers has been regarded as a credible measure of legal integrity and distinction in the United States, according to a notice recognizing Berson for his “high caliber of work in the practice area of family law.”

Inclusion in “The Best Lawyers of America” is based on a peer-review survey of more than 8.2 million attorneys.

“Our founding principle remains unchanged since 1983 and forms the basis of our transparent methodology: The best lawyers know who the best lawyers are,” the notice states.

As a Best Lawyers honoree, Berson will be able to participate in the exclusive voting process for next year’s edition.
