Coldwell Banker division debuts new name, logo

Coldwell Banker Upton-Massamont Realtors, with four local offices in Shelburne Falls, South Deerfield, Northampton and Amherst, has changed its name to Coldwell Banker Community Realtors. In addition, the company unveiled a new logo as the entire Coldwell Banker network undergoes a visual transformation as part of “Project North Star.”

“We have been considering a name change for a few years now,” said Christine Aubrey, owner of Coldwell Banker Community Realtors. “We wanted a name that better reflects who we are as a company, and ‘Community’ does that. We have always been involved in and supportive of the communities we serve. When we found out that Coldwell Banker would be undergoing a new look, we realized this was the right time to make the name change, too.”

According to a press release from the real estate agency, the new Coldwell Banker North Star logo features a visual icon — a star, which throughout history has been the beacon that explorers have used to guide them home. Sitting above the “CB,” this North Star signifies the fact that Coldwell Banker agents have been guiding people home for over a century.

“We are excited to celebrate our new name and the new look of Coldwell Banker,” Aubrey said. “One of the great things about the rebranding has been the response from our agents.”

“The name change really reflects how this company has grown and invested in the community of the Pioneer Valley,” agreed Christina Postera, a real estate agent who works out of the company’s South Deerfield office. “The Realtors in this agency are committed to the betterment of our community through volunteering and fundraising. We value where we live and our name now emulates that.”
