Bulletin Board: Danielle Zraunig helps Franklin First to GGSL victory

Danielle Zraunig did it in the circle and at the plate, powering Franklin First Credit Union to a 5-3 win over Elks Club in a Greenfield Girls Softball League Junior Division contest at Murphy Park in Greenfield on Thursday night.

Zraunig pitched well and was also 3-for-3 at the plate in the win. Eleanor Martin (three hits), Grayson Baker (two hits), Riley Vallandingham (two hits) and Grace Hickey (two hits) were other offensive contributors for Franklin First.

Rachel Laffy and Emma Stacy had hits for the Elks, and Sydney Brown played well.

Triton Automotive 18, Gilmore & Farrell 4 – Lenyx White tripled and Lexi Hawkins hit a home run for Triton in Ponytail Division action on Thursday. Tianna Moise-Valdez also contributed with a hit, and Hawkins recorded 9 strikeouts.

Gilmore and Farrell’s Kinsley Bergeron, Aurora Reynolds, and Sadie Wilcox all had a hit.

Franklin First 5, Pipione’s 4 – In Junior Division action from earlier this week, Evelyn Eldridge, Danielle Zraunig and Eleanor Martin were all 3-for-3 to power Franklin First Credit Union. 

Penelope Gioules smashed a double for Pipione’s, while Ellie McIntire had two hits and Eleanor Jones also had a hit.
