Jaiden Lapointe was 5-for-5, and Turners Falls Athletic Club captured a sweep of the best-of-three championship series in the Newt Guilbault Community Baseball League via a 6-5 win over Booska’s Flooring during Game 2 action on Tuesday in Turners Falls.
Jordan Sullivan-Paulino had two triples and a single in the win for TFAC, while Tyreek Rivera also tripled in the victory. Chase Greene picked up the win with two scoreless innings of relief, and also smacked a first-inning home run.
TFAC also won Game 1 on Monday.
GMLB
Brock Puchalski knocked three hits while Toby Campbell and Quinn Gibbons each added two hits to lead Pioneer Valley Tire to an 11-6 win over Ruggeri in game two of the GMLB AA championship series on Tuesday.
Emerson Maxam pitched well and had two hits at the plate, Brayden Parody had two hits and Connor O’Connell tallied three hits for Ruggeri.
PVYBL Mickey Mantle
Marshall Ingram tossed all seven innings, striking out 14, and also had a triple, a single and an RBI at the plate to lift Mohawk to a 4-1 victory over Frontier in a PVYBL Mickey Mantle game Tuesday night in Buckland.
Caden Payne also had a hit and an RBI in the victory for Mohawk.
Frontier’s Davey Mazur had two hits while Thomas Unkles and Grayson Loos each had a hit. Owen Babb struck out four in three innings of work on the mound.

Chris Eugin finished with the low score of 28 in the Patty Berg Flight of the Country Club of Greenfield Nine Hole Women's League on Tuesday in a First Three, Last Three contest.
Ellen Bitzer won the Nancy Lopez Flight with a 35, Linda Lively took the Lorena Ochoa Flight with a 32, Sisan Luippold came in first in the Joanna Carner Flight with a 34 and Bonnie Duprey took the Annika Sorenstom Flight with a 36.
■ In a Best 14 Holes contest in the 18 Hole Women’s League at CCG on Tuesday, Terry Boyce shot the low gross of 53 in Flight One while Irene Woods had the low gross of 76 in Flight Two.
Teresa Varner shot the low net of 8-under in Flight One and Susan Parker had the low net (8-under) in Flight Two.
Matt’s Men’s League
Charlie McCracken shot the low gross of 39 while Cam Landers finished with the low net of 30 in Week Five of Matt’s Men’s League at Thomas Memorial.
McCracken won closest to the pin on No. 7 (six feet) and No. 9 (12-9) while also winning skins on No. 7. Donny Mailloux and Zach Little each scored six points on the week, the most in the league.
