The Beacon Clay Court Classic, sponsored by West County Cider, held its championship match on Tuesday, and Steve Pedigree captured the week-long tourney title.

Pedigree walked away as the champion, knocking off Lexi Silk by scores of 6-2, 6-2.

DRIVE League

Noah Currie scored 18 points to lift Brattleboro to a 52-38 win over Turners Falls in a boys JV semifinal contest of the DRIVE League at Stoneleigh Burnham on Monday. 

Lobsang Rabten led the Thunder with 20 points. 

After, Chase Canon-Smith tallied 19 points while Pat Larson scored 18 points in Easthampton’s 51-48 semifinal win over Smith Vocational. Dom Sanchez put up 19 points while Jack Riley had 10 points for the Vikings. 

In boys varsity semifinals at Greenfield High School on Monday, Keegan Martin scored 15 points while Alex Martin added 14 points as Keene beat Orange, 68-48. 

Jayden Delgado recorded 18 points while Derek Collins scored 13 points for Orange. 

In the men’s league semifinals at Greenfield High School on Monday, OSC-Manning knocked off 413 Elite, 78-71, in overtime behind 28 points from Roel Martinez and 21 points from Eric Pardee. 

Tayjon Joyner scored 15 points while Andrew Ciaglo added 14 points in the loss. 

After, Chris Brown put up 35 points and Rob Jones added 17 points in No Name Hoops’ 82-65 triumph over Crossover Crew. Perry Cashmere scored 23 points while Josh Hansen tallied 14 points for Crossover. 

The finals for all three leagues are scheduled for Wednesday night at Greenfield High School.  Brattleboro and Easthampton will open the night with the JV championship at 5:45 p.m., Greenfield takes on Keene in the boys varsity finals at 6:45 while OSC-Manning and No Name Hoops play for the men’s league championship at 7:45.
