Bulletin Board: Newt Guilbault, GMLB hosts All Star games

Newt Guilbault held its All-Star Game on Saturday, with Asa Stebbins, Everett Eichorn and Trevor Lyons each knocking two hits to lift the East squad to a 6-2 victory. 

Malachi Bouchard, Eichorn and Lyons combined to strikeout 16 in the win. Tyler Newton, Liam Kerivan, and Tyler Girard each hit safely for the West team. 

At the All Star game the new batting cages at the Newt Guilbault field were dedicated to George F. Bush, the last surviving founder of Newt Guilbault baseball. 

GMLB

GMLB had its AAA All-Star Game on Sunday, with Logan Batiste knocking two hits including a triple, Michael Dixon finishing with two hits while Liam Bassett and JJ Bones each had a hit in the NL’s 7-3 win over the AL. 

Aaron Turner had two hits while Ben Shivone and Paul Budrawich hit safely for the AL. 

Andrew Gardner, Fischer Williams, Jackson Baker, Kaydin Snow-Rose, Elias Tripp, Emerson Maxam, Conner O’Connel and Tyler Pietrowski rounded out the AL roster while Christian Powell, PJ Brodeur, Fred Burnap, Jacob Miller, Ryan Turner, Jackson Puchalski, Noah Knox, Corbin Pease and Liam Gould played for the NL. 

In the AA All Star Game, the NL defeated the AL, 27-3, behind five hits, one a double, and three RBIs from Noah Stoffolano, four hits and three strikeouts on the mound from Harlon Hickey and four hits, one a double, and five RBIs from Gabe Heineman.

Connor Bergeron homered while Theo Schultz and Walker Kingsbury each had two hits and an RBI for the AL. 

■ In a Majors contest on Sunday Bodie Burke singled, doubled and homered while dirving in three runs, Jamie McCarthy and Desmond Drake doubled while Asa Bouchard and Teddy McCarthy singled in Gilmore and Farrell’s 7-6 win over Maniatty’s. 

Connor Bergeron homered, Osiah Ballard singled and doubled while Topher Miller and Ethan Burgh singled in the loss. 

■ Wesley Lehman knocked three hits and an RBI while Jane Kalas had two hits and an RBI in Terrazza’s 8-4 win over Parody Builders in a Rookie Division contest on Saturday. 

Natalie Belville had five hits while Brody Neipp had four hits for Parody. 

■ In AA action on Saturday JJ Grader and Quincy Audet each had two doubles and a single in Liberty Tax’s 15-7 win over Baker Financial. Keegan Lewkowicz had two hits and Aiden Call tripled for Baker. 

■ Also in AA action on Saturday Noah Marguet had four hits, one a double, and two RBIs while striking out two on the mound, Vinny Toothaker had a trio of hits and RBIs and Braith Brothers struck out three in Fitzgerald Real Estate’s 15-7 win over Ruggeri Real Estate. 

Gabe Heineman singled and brought in three with a triple, John Vera-Dreyer had a hit and Kyan Skutnik-Sheffield had three hits for Ruggeri. 

■ In a AAA contest on Saturday Liam Bassett pitched, Jacob Miller pitched and knocked a two RBI double and Michael Dixon tripled in Aubuchon Hardware’s 8-4 win over Denny’s Pantry. 

Aaron Turner pitched while Benny Shivone and Andrew Gardner each had two hits for Denny’s. 

■ On Friday Anthony Ruggeri and Luciano Stoffolano each had two hits while JJ Bones cracked a grand slam in Lundgren Honda’s 11-10 win over Pioneer Valley Tire. 

Xavier Woodard and Benjamin Woodard each had two hits while Jackson Baker pitched and had three hits in the loss. 

Golf

CCG 

Terry Boyce was the overal winner on the women’s side of the CCG Senior Club Championship, finishing with a gross score of 160. 

Tina Browne had the low net (142). Raye Young shot the low gross in the Pebble Beach Flight (177) while Nancy Donoghue had the low net (143). In the Baltustrol Flight Teresa Varner shot the low gross (173) while Irene Woods had the low net (156). 

Jason Kelton was the winner on the men’s side in the Senior Club Championship, shooting the low gross of 141. Dave Collette had the low net (145). 

In the Augusta Flight Steve Jones had the low gross (146) and Jamie Crocker shot the low net (145).  In the Oak Hill Flight Mark Kennedy had the low gross (157) and Pat Grogan had the low net (146) and in the LACC Flight John Varner shot the low gross (164) and Barry Dow had the low net (148).
