The Greenfield Tennis League is holding a League Doubles tournament to close out the season.
The tournament begins with round robin play on Sept. 11. before the championship match on Sept. 12. It will take place at the Beacon Courts in Greenfield, with matches getting underway at 5:30 p.m. Each player enters as an individual before drawing for partners. There will be a remix consolation round where those who didn’t qualify for the championship match can redraw partners and play consolation matches on Sept. 12.

Nancy Donoghue (11.5), Teresa Varner (11), Elizabeth Dolby (nine) and Tina Browne (nine) finished with the top points in a match play vs. par contest in the 18 Hole Women’s League at the Country Club of Greenfield on Tuesday.
Sue Sigda (eight) led Flight Two, followed by Alane Smith (seven), Anne Corrinet (six) and Anne Echeverria (six).
