Bulletin Board: Bergeron sinks ace at Crumpin-Fox

Tom Bergeron sank his second hole-in-one of the year on Saturday at Crumpin-Fox Club in Bernardston. 

Bergeron aced the 15th hole at CFC, using a 7 iron to accomplish the feat.

Rich Carroll, Dan Benoit and Doug Taylor were witnesses.

CCG

Raye Young and Diane Carme (157) and Jess Lapachinski and Sue Welenc (162) shot the low women’s gross scores in a Two Person Scramble at the Country Club of Greenfield on Sunday. 

Gail Miller and Danica Hochstetler tied with Kathy Nicoll and Nancy Donoghue for the low net (126). Mike Archer and Roy Emerson (132) were the winners on the men’s side, with Clint McCloud and Alec Meikle (133) taking second and Tom Herzig and Justin McCloud coming in third (135). 

Dave Perlmutter and David Markland (122), Dan Gavin and Chuck Yetter (125) and Jason Liimatainen and Pat Chase (127) had the low net scores.

Joey DiSciullo returned a punt for a touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Jacob Wilder as the Franklin County Senior Bulldogs fell to Palmer, 14-13, on Sunday in Palmer. 

Alex Smith and Carmello Bashaw caught passes, DiSciullo had an interception, Hunter Parker had a sack and a forced fumble, Xavier Woodard added a sack and Brayden Archembault recovered a fumble in the loss. 

Later the PeeWee Bulldogs beat Palmer, 20-6, with Brock Puchalski, Gavin Keene and Ben Keeler running in touchdowns. Owen Castine had seven tackles while Toby Campbell added six tackles in the victory. 

Frontier Youth

Jack Carney, Johnny Stanisewski, Oliver Aracolo and Kyrie Petrizzi-Richmond ran in touchdowns for the Frontier PeeWees, who beat Quabbin 27-7 on Sunday. 

Ryan Washburn, Stanisewski and Wyatt Burt had two-point conversions in the win. 

Youth hockey

FCHA results

Vinnie Spooner scored twice while Collin Winslow added a goal to lead the FCHA 10U Green squad to a 3-2 win over Holy Name on Sunday. 

Bryce Urkiel got the win in goal while Charlie Lovett, Wyatt Wilkins (2) and Sean Winslow provided assists. 

Adult football

Greenfield touch league

Joseph Colon ran in a touchdown while connected with Nico Kaham and Tony Scruggs for scores as the Blitzing Bears beat the Amherst Office Park Hounds 18-6 on Sunday in a Greenfield Adult Touch Football League game. 

Mak Rodgers found Bryce Marcellius for the Hounds’ lone score. 

Later Jalen Sanders scored a pair of touchdowns and found Jaden Radcliffe for a pair of two-point conversions in Gill CC Wood Working’s 18-0 win over the Namaste Pink Panthers. 

Tyler Hobbs and Derek Helie added safeties while Alex Bourassa had a pick in the win. 

To close out the day Sirum beat Team Cerious, 7-0, behind strogn play from Parker Hickey, Chris Hart, Mark Sirum, Chucky St. Hillaire and Tyler Lavin. Seth Aldridge, Anthony Jacobs, and Christopher Charles had strong games for Team Cerious.
