Northfield Mount Hermon School returned home from a lengthy trip overseas to play only its second game of the season at Forslund Gymnasium but suffered a rare home loss with a 72-63 defeat to Brewster Academy Friday evening in Gill.

With Boston Celtics general manager and President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge among the crowd on hand, Brewster handed the Hoggers their fourth loss of the season to drop NMH to 13-4.

NMH was making its stateside return after playing six games in Europe, five in Belgium and one in London, England, where the Hoggers went 5-1 overall.

Ben Callahan-Gold led NMH with 17 points (including five 3-pointers), while Greg Dolan netted 16 points. Isa Maguire notched 10 points, and Max Lorca chipped in 9 points.

NMH goes right back to work Sunday afternoon at home at 2 when it faces Winchendon School.
