Charge of being a fugitive from justice was not prosecuted, as according to a written statement from a counsel in the district attorney’s office, an out-of-state warrant no longer exists, so the defendant is no longer a fugitive. The charged offense took place on 4/4/89.

Corey B. Tsatsos, 38, of Millers Falls Road, Millers Falls. Pleaded guilty to assault, amended down from assault with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a kitchen knife, fined $160, plus $40 surfine. Charge of carrying a dangerous weapon, to wit, a nunchaku, in Charlemont by state police, to be dismissed on payment of $150 court costs, and the weapon must be forfeit, and is ordered to be destroyed. Admitted to sufficient facts for possession of a Class B drug, to wit, methadone, but continued without a finding until 5/2/16 with victim witness assessment of $50. Anthony Cox, 56, of Third Street, Turners Falls. Charge of evading a taxi fare, in Greenfield, dismissed at request of the Commonwealth.

Brian D. Cornwell, 52, of Wells Street, Greenfield, Pleaded innocent to violation of miscellaneous municipal ordinance/bylaw, to wit having or drinking from an open container of alcohol on the street/sidewalk in Greenfield, released on personal recognizance, continued to 2/5/16 for pretrial conference.
