Alpine Ski: Mohawk Trail’s Addie Loomis earns another victory at Berkshire East

Addie Loomis continues to impress on the mountain this winter for the Mohawk Trail girls alpine ski team.

Loomis earned her sixth victory of the season during the sixth PVIAC race of the season on Thursday at Berkshire East, placing first with a run of 30.47 seconds on the giant slalom course. 

Emmy Sisum took second (31.44) while Sofiya Slocik-Gritzner (seventh, 33.37) and Mae Hoff (ninth, 33.86) also finished in the top 10 for the Warriors. 

Naomi Den Ouden (13th, 36.02) and Myah Grant (18th, 37.15) helped cap off another strong day for the Mohawk Trail girls. 

Five Warrior boys earned top 25 finishes in the slalom race on Thursday, with Gage Patenaude having the top finish by coming down the course fourth overall in a time of 46.36 seconds.

Phineas Tuttman placed eighth (49.96), Oliver Johnson took 13th (51.74), Wyatt Sisum earned 21st (53.83) and Grayson Bishop finished in 22nd (54.11) for Mohawk Trail.
