WARWICK — Though it’s been 14 years since an ice-climbing accident took Ned Green’s life, his memory lives on. Shortly after his death, his mother, Clare Green, set up a scholarship in his name, to be given to a Pioneer Valley Regional School senior pursuing an education in the environmental sciences or outdoor leadership. On May 9, supporters will embark on a memorial hike to the summit of Mount Grace, meeting at the trail head across from the Highway Department garage at 10 a.m. Donations are appreciated, but everyone is invited to hike, regardless of their ability to donate.
