Greenfield, Nov. 15, Judge William Mazanec III

William V. Pavlenkov, 27, of Winchester. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or .0.08 percent in Shelburne. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 11/14/18, with 45-day mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Found not responsible for charges of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and speeding. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

John W. Spat, 64, of Chapman Street, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for assault and battery, amended down from assault and battery on family/household member. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 11/14/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, must have no alcohol and subject to screens, and must abide by any 209A restraining order in existence, Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $50 counsel contribution. Must perform eight hours of community service per month.

Greenfield, Nov. 17, Judge William Mazanec III

Shantel R. Hayes, 24, listed as of homeless of Turners Falls. Pleaded innocent to shoplifting, at Dollar General in Greenfield. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 12/15/17 for pretrial conference.

Shana L. Waite, 28, of Davis Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, failure to stop for police, speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop/yield. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 1/4/18 for pretrial conference. Must perform 16 hours community service in lieu of legal counsel fee.

Madelyn Moodie, 33, of Westfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 11/16/18 for charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, in Shelburne by state police, and must have no operation of a motor vehicle until the license is reinstated. Placed on pretrial probation until 11/16/18 for both charges of uninsured motor vehicle, and operating with suspended registration, and with same condition as in count one.

Dylan T. Avery, 19, of Barre, Vt. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, possessing a Class B drug, to wit, cocaine and conspiracy to violate drug laws, to wit, purchase of both heroin and cocaine in Bernardston by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 1/4/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $150 legal counsel contribution.

John G. Young, 26, of Hartford, Conn. Pleaded innocent to unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation in Greenfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 1/19/18 for pretrial conference.

Kaleigh M. Wan, 24, of North Main Street, South Deerfield. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs by 12/22/17. Found not responsible for charge of marked lanes violation.

Lindsay J. Wan, 30, of North Main Street, South Deerfield. Operating a motor vehicle with license suspended to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs on this day.

Stephen A. Giard, 41, of Main Road Gill, Charge of failure to report an unauthorized firearm in Bernardston by state police to be dismissed on payment of $1,000 court costs. Charge of improper storage of a large capacity firearm to be dismissed on forfeiture of a Winchester .22 rifle. Charge of possessing a firearm without a firearms identification card, with shogun to be held until it is picked up by a named person. Second charge of possessing a firearm without a firearms identification card to be dismissed when all ammunition has been destroyed.

Bradley Kabaniec, 30, of Chapman Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to no inspection sticker, and operating a motor vehicle with license suspended. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 12/2217 for pretrial conference.

Stephen C. Randall, 46, of Maxam Road, Colrain. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, in Shelburne. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 1/19/18 for pretrial conference.

David T. Watt, 22, of Amherst. Charge of operating with suspended registration to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Charge of uninsured motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Jason Lynch, 33, of South Hadley. Charge of operating with suspended registration to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Charge of uninsured motor vehicle dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Colin Z. Howard, 24, of Underhill, Vt. Found responsible for speeding in Greenfield by state police. Fined $150. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Cade A. Fisk, 24, of Brattleboro, Vt. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Leyden to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for speeding in violation of special regulation.

Teigan R. Hadfield, 20, of Fort Square East, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Deerfield, amended down from operating under the influence of liquor. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 2/20/18, with head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50, or until all fines are paid, and the Safe Driver Course is completed. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay one time $50 probation supervision fee.

Andrew Davis, 39, of Pierce Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 1/8/18 for pretrial conference.
