Agriculture group names local heroes

DEERFIELD -- When we support local agriculture we are all heroes, Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture tells us with their advertising campaigns.

This article forgot to mention the real agricultural heroes,,, the thousands of herb farmers that supply green to millions of happy people sitting on the couch in front of the TV with a bag of Cheetos and a beer.

JR3 has it right keep the valley green & serene, couldn't have said it better.

All agriculture started out as weeds, some have been cultivated to provide nourishment, beauty,feed, privacy,some will always be just a weed, but all are important to humans.

As a former Arizona herb farmer, it's great to know that the local community is so supportive.

I'll be heading out to Humboldt county to get my seeds and head for the valley and plant, plant , plant, So this fall we should be bringing our crop to all the couch potatoes in GFLD.
