BERNARDSTON -- Nearby neighbors of the proposed Kringle Candle Co., which has been built in the old GBI building on Routes 5 and 10, scheduled time at the Wednesday Board of Selectmen's meeting to complain about what they think will be increased traffic, smell and disruption in their neighborhoods.
The first person to address her concerns at the meeting was Elizabeth Dolinger, of Fox Hill Road, who was at pains to say that she did not oppose new businesses coming to the town, but wanted the selectmen to hold a special meeting so that questions could be asked about the projects that are being proposed.
''I'm not making any objections to the project, but I have talked with all of my neighbors and there are still a lot of people with a lot of questions,'' she said.
