GREENFIELD -- John F. Powell, 80, of 103 Country Side, formerly of Buckland, died Friday (11-27-09) at home.

A memorial service will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Mary Lyon Church, Upper Street, Buckland. Pastor Richard Fournier will officiate.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Buckland Public Library, 30 Upper St., Buckland, the Mary Lyon Church, P.O. Box 17, Buckland MA 01338 or Hospice of Franklin County, 329 Conway St., Greenfield MA 01301

Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home of Greenfield is in charge of arrangements.
