NORTH HAVEN, Conn. -- Gladys May Woodard ''Woodie'' Borkowski, 89, of North Haven, died Sunday (11-22-09) at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the sister of Helen E. Woodard Gould of Shelburne Falls, Mass., and Charles Woodard of Turners Falls, Mass.
A graveside service will be held in Center Cemetery, Elm Street, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Scott Morrow officiating.
There are no calling hours.
Contributions in her memory are suggested to the North Haven Congregational Church, 28 Church St., North Haven, CT 06473 or Robbins Memorial Church, Munson Street, Greenfield, MA 01301.
Arrangements are under the direction of the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, CT.
