It wasn't easy but the Athol High School girls' maintained their perfect record.
The Red Raiders improved to 14-0-0 overall and 7-0-0 in the Franklin County League by scoring late in each half to beat rival Mahar Regional School, 2-0, in a soccer match Tuesday night in Orange.
Cailin Jilson broke the scoreless draw in the 35th minute when she converted a pass from Kiley Cleveland.
It stayed that way until there were two minutes left, when Cleveland registered an insurance tally.
Athol outshot Mahar, 15-2.
