Greenfield Post 81 baserunner Danny Szafran gets back into first base and under the tag of Quincy first baseman Kyle Brennan Wednesday night at Vets Field in Greenfield, where Post 81 beat Quincy Post 294, 7-2, in the Junior American Legion Baseball State Tourament semifinals. Post 81 ran out of gas in the final, falling to champion Methuen, 12-0. The runner-up finish secured Greenfield a slot in the upcoming Regional Tounament.
