Bulletin Board: Mohawk-Frontier tickets on sale
Advance tickets are now on sale for the Mohawk Trail Regional High School at Frontier Regional School Thanksgiving eve football game Wednesday night in South Deerfield.
Tickets, which cost $5 in advance or $7 on game-night, can be purchased at Savages Market in Deerfield, the South Deerfield Polish American Citizens Club, the Deerfield Pharmacy, Hager’s Farm Market in Shelburne, Country Pie in Ashfield, Neighbors in Ashfield, and the main office of both schools.

Turners Turkey raffle
The Turners Falls High School football team will hold its annual Turkey Raffle on Saturday from 6 to 10 at St. Stanislaus Society in Turners Falls.
Besides raffling off 20 turkeys, the event will also have other prizes on hand to raffle, including a women’s Jacoby Ellsbury Boston Red Sox jersey, a lottery tree, and other prizes. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds go to benefit the football program at Turners Falls.
Frontier Turkey raffle
The Frontier Regional School football team will hold its annual Turkey Raffle at the Polish American Citizens Club in South Deerfield on Saturday night beginning at 6.
Prizes include turkeys, bottles of cheer, gift certificates and more. All proceeds go to benefit the football program at Frontier.
Tech/Pioneer Powder Puff
The Franklin County Technical School vs. Pioneer Valley Regional School Powder Puff football game will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Franklin Tech in Turners Falls.
The game features a flag football contest between girls at both schools and will be played to benefit the teen service agency DIAL/SELF. Cost is $5 per adult and $3 for students or one nonperishable food item per person.
Mohawk SL tryouts
Tryouts for the Mohawk Suburban League boys’ basketball teams will take place on tonight at Mohawk.
Tryouts for the grades 4 through 6 team will begin at 3:45 p.m., while tryouts for the grades 7 and 8 team will begin at 5.

Any football alumni from the 1963 Arms Academy team wishing to take part in the pre-game ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the game should contact current Mohawk coach Doug McCloud at 548-6289.
Celtics bus trip
The Northampton Recreation Department still has seats available for its bus trip to see the Boston Celtics take on the Orlando Magic at TD Garden on Feb. 2.
The bus will leave JFK Middle School at 9 a.m. and will return at the conclusion of the game, which starts at 1 p.m. The trip also includes early entrance to the facility to view the pre-game shoot-around.

The Greenfield Football Boosters have a couple of fundraisers scheduled for this week, beginning tonight with “Dining for the Cause” at the 99 Restaurant, and moving to a Saturday-evening Green Wave Powder-Puff Football Game at 6 at Veterans Memorial Field.
The booster club will earn a piece of all meals at the 99 fundraiser, plus will offer a 50/50 raffle at the door as well as a silent auction after supper.
At the Saturday football game, booster-club representatives will accept cash donations or non-perishable food items donated for the Teen-Line Food Pantry.
