Bulletin Board: DRIVE trips up Snow & Sons

Brendan Kordana scored 20 points to lead DRIVE Hoops past Snow & Sons Landscaping, 86-74, in a DRIVE Hoops Men’s Basketball League game on Sunday at Stoneleigh-Burnham School in Greenfield.

Angelo Thomas added 16 points for the winners.

Cody Snow netted 18 and Dan Donoghue contributed 12 for Snow & Sons.

Elsewhere, Shelburne Farm Garden/Hilltown Tents used 32 points from Ben Johnson and 31 from Darren Schmidt to defeat Bruso Computer Solutions, 96-66.

Matt Gibson poured in a game-high 36 and Jeff Gibson had 10 for BCS.

Also, Dunkin Donuts received a 2-0 forfeit win over Noho.


SBS wins

C’Quoya Haughton bucketed 9 points to help Stoneleigh-Burnham School outlast Ethel Walker School, 33-32, in a prep girls’ basketball game Monday game Monday in Simsbury, Conn.

Rosemary Ilang added 8 points, Ieva Jasponyte had 6 and Greenfield’s Emily Zraunig finished with 5 for the winners.

Youth basketball

Turners 5-6 wins

Anthony Peterson scored a game-high 15 points to lead Turners Falls over Southampton, 51-27, in a Suburban Basketball League boys’ grades 5-6 game Monday night at William E. Norris Elementary School in Southampton.

Jacob Sak drained 11 points and Jonathan Fritz chipped in 8 for the winners.
