Bulletin Board: Legion pre-registrations still being accepted
Players can still pre-register to play for the American Legion Senior and Junior division teams.
Tryouts for both teams will take place at Veterans Memorial Field in Greenfield on April 26, May 3 and May 4, with the Senior Legion team starting at 1 p.m. each day, and the Junior Legion program beginning at 2:45.
Players should bring birth certificates, gloves and cleats to practice.

Oak Ridge League signups
Oak Ridge Golf Club in Gill is looking for anyone interested in playing in a Wednesday evening scramble league.
The league will hold a meeting on Wednesday night at 6.

K of C tourney
The Greenfield Knights of Columbus Council 133 is looking for golfers interested in playing in its inaugural tournament on May 5 at 11 a.m. at the Greenfield Country Club.
The event includes 18 holes with a cart as well as lunch, dinner and a large raffle.

Basketball Blast signups
The third annual Keene State “EDGE” Basketball Blast will take place on May 31 and June 1 at Keene (N.H.) State College.
The tournament is open to boys’ and girls’ teams in grades 6 through 11, and each team is guaranteed to play at least three games. Cost is $285 per team.
Last year the tournament had over 45 teams, and all games are played in one gym. Special requests accepted and multi-team discounts are given.

Greenfield Tennis League
The Greenfield Tennis League is now accepting registrations for the summer season.
The league is co-ed and open to anyone 16-years-old and older. Divisions are set up by playing ability and all matches take place on clay courts.
Cost is $25 for residents of Greenfield and $30 for nonresidents. Deadline to register is May 18.

Registration is now open for the Greenfield Recreation Department Tee-Ball program.
The program, open to boys and girls ages 5 to 7, takes place at Green River Park and Greenfield Middle School on Saturdays from May 3 through June 7 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
Registrations are being taken at the Greenfield Town Hall Citizen Service Center or The Recreation Department at the Greenfield Youth Center on Sanderson Street.
Registration fee is $30 per child for Greenfield residents and $35 for nonresidents. Volunteer coaches are needed.
