Bulletin Board: Cloutier leads GMS boys’ hoops win

Colin Cloutier scored 13 points Thursday and Greenfield Middle School beat Athol Middle School, 40-30, in a boys’ basketball game in Athol.

Tarrod Dobbins netted 10 points in the win. Owen Phelps added 8 points.

Evan Saisa and Austin Clyatt each scored 5 points for Athol.

GMS girls win

Kirsten Ward scored 12 points Thursday to lead Greenfield Middle School past Athol Middle School, 29-15, in a girls’ basketball game in Athol.

DRIVE AAU tryouts

Tryouts for the DRIVE Hoops All-aroundU boys’ teams will be held on March 1 at Hopkins Academy in Hadley.

Boys in grades 4 through 7 will try out from 10 to 11:45 a.m., while those in grades 8 through 12 go from noon to 1:45 p.m.

Cost of the tryout is $10 per player. Parents are asked to bring the child’s birth certificate.

The driving range at Indoor Action Sports in Greenfield will be open on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
