Orange Republicans plan ‘meet and greet’

Thursday, February 08, 2018

ORANGE — The Orange Republican Town Committee “meet and greet” and caucus is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24, at noon at the Orange American Legion on Route 202 (Daniel Shays Highway).

In case of inclement weather, both events will be held on Feb. 25.

The “meet and greet” is open to all registered Republicans and Independent voters in Massachusetts. The “meet and greet,” according to a press release, is to “introduce each candidate — let the individual political candidate show their intent.” After the introduction of each candidate, each participating candidate will have an opportunity to discuss one on one the individual concerns of the voter.

Following the “meet and greet,” the Orange Republican Town Committee will hold its caucus. Only registered Republicans in the Town of Orange will be allowed to speak and participate.
